Job Title: Concierge Associate

Job Description

As a Concierge Associate at DPS Skis/PHANTOM Glide, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive an exceptional experience when selecting ski equipment and related products. You’ll assist customers with personalized product recommendations, offer expert guidance on ski gear, and ensure transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. This role involves working closely with customers to fit them for ski demos, help them make informed purchases, and maintain a high standard of customer service. You will also contribute to maintaining our equipment fleet and supporting our on-snow demo events.

The Concierge Associate will have a general work schedule from Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm. This role works onsite at DPS HQ in SLC, UT in addition to consistent offsite work which includes deliveries, and potential for service calls and demonstrations. Weekends as needed. Ability to be flexible with schedule, depending on demand is needed.

 

What You Will Do:

Provide expert advice and recommendations on ski equipment, apparel, and accessories based on customer needs and preferences.

Assist customers with ski fittings, ensuring proper sizing, comfort, and product understanding.

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system (Shopify experience is a plus).

Handle customer inquiries, returns, and concerns in a professional manner.

Maintain a clean, organized retail environment, including product displays and inventory management.

Support ski deliveries and binding setup, as well as DPS Concierge deliveries as needed.

Assist with on-snow demo events, ensuring customers have the necessary gear for a successful experience.Rev. Date: 11/15/2024

Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends to enhance the customer experience.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet sales targets and store objectives.

What You Will Bring:

High school diploma or equivalent; retail experience, preferably in sports or outdoor industry, is a plus.

Passion for skiing with a strong knowledge of ski equipment and gear.

Ability to perform ski shop work, including mounting and maintaining demo ski fleets.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, customer-first approach.

Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy in managing transactions and inventory.

Reliable attendance and a positive, professional demeanor.

Experience with POS systems, particularly Shopify, is advantageous.

What You Will Experience:

Physical Demands: Work is performed both onsite in an office environment and

requires travel to resorts and other local locations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand for long periods, use a computer to enter data, and use the telephone to communicate with customers and employees.

Regularly required to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and/or finger movements, feel the attributes of objects, grasp, push, and reach with arms or hands.

Must be able to regularly move objects up to 15 lbs and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a semi-regular basis.

 Job Title: Ecommerce Manager

 Job Description

As an Ecommerce Manager at DPS Skis, you’ll be at the forefront of driving our online sales strategy. You’ll collaborate across departments, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and profitable ecommerce experience. This role requires a passion for data, a growth mindset, and the ability to innovate, particularly in user experience (UI/UX) and digital design. You'll take charge of improving the customer journey and driving sales through data-driven insights.

What You Will Do:

• Develop and execute omnichannel ecommerce strategies across web, email, SMS, and social media.

Lead cross-functional collaboration to align ecommerce goals with overall company objectives.

Lead web development efforts by designing, building, and maintaining site features and functionality to enhance user experience and support ecommerce objectives.

• Monitor and analyze KPIs, using data-driven insights and A/B testing to optimize site performance.

• Conduct regular website audits to maintain accurate and engaging content.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and enhance the customer journey with new features.

• Oversee backend management for shipping, payments, and inventory integration.

• Continuously improve SEO strategies and ensure ADA compliance for better accessibility.

• Manage the VIP Customer program and implement upselling/cross-selling opportunities.

• Oversee product and campaign rollouts, ensuring UI/UX best practices.

     Job Description

    Come join the team at our development and manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City. In this role, you’ll be part of a hands-on production environment, manufacturing high-quality skis. We’re seeking motivated, adaptable individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment and bring a passion for craftsmanship to every project.

    What You Will Do:

    • Operate a variety of machines after completing training and support production goals.
    • Contribute to a collaborative team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

     What You Will Bring:

    • Prior experience in manufacturing or familiarity with hand and power tools is a plus.
    • Comfortable working with metric measurements.
