Carbon Power Plate
Located underfoot, the Carbon Power Plate is an added layer of carbon in the Pisteworks 94 that acts as our version of power steering. It's where input meets response, and is the critical connection point between the skier and the ski, channeling energy directly into the ski for maximum power transfer and control.
How does it compare to the Pisteworks 79?
The Pisteworks 79 and Pisteworks 94 are both carving skis, but built for different rhythms on snow. The 79 thrives on tight, quick arcs, remains approachable at lower speeds, and is made to be skied on groomers and hardpack. The 94 is built for high-speed power and is our most aggressive and hard-charging carver. It's designed for skiers who want to open it up and drive big turns with confidence, whether on groomed terrain or off-piste.
